

Private Lessons
We offer a wide range of quality private lessons for children ages three through adult. To enroll
in private lessons, contact the Academy at 859-486-1032 to select an instructor. Instructor
biographies are posted on the Piano/Voice Faculty and Guitar/Strings Faculty pages. (Suzuki
method is appropriate for children age five and under who are studying piano, violin or viola.)
You may then download the required policies and forms on our Prices & Registration page.
The registration and payment form can be mailed or faxed to the Academy with payment,
phoned in with credit card information or given to the instructor at the first lesson. We offer
significant discount for students who can take lessons prior to 2:30 p.m.during the weekdays.

Private lessons are available in traditional method piano for students age five and
up. Suzuki method students may begin as young as age three. For information
about the Suzuki method of instruction, visit the Suzuki Association website by
clicking here. We also offer "Music for Little Mozarts" piano method for children
ages 4-6.
Private voice lessons are available for students age seven through adult. Vocal
lessons focus on the fundamentals of correct singing. A wide variety of styles is
available.
- PIANO/VOICE COMBINATION LESSONS
Some of our instructors offer both piano and voice in a combination lesson. A
minimum forty-five minute time commitment is required for students choosing this
option.
Both Suzuki and traditional methods are available. Children as young as age three
may begin with Suzuki method. Email or phone us to observe ongoing Suzuki
method lessons. Suzuki method string students must also attend periodic group

- ACOUSTIC AND ELECTRIC GUITAR, BASS GUITAR, MANDOLIN,
DULCIMER, BANJO AND UKULELE
Instruction is available for Classical and every popular style. Students age seven
and up can learn to read notes in addition to studying chords and learning
techniques appropriate for each particular instrument.
