About Us
At Slater Music Academy, all we do is music instruction. We do not sell instruments or sheet music,
so all of our energy and time is devoted to bringing our customers the highest quality of music
instruction available in the Tri-State area. Each instructor is highly trained and experienced. Many
have advanced degrees, and all have proven records of excellence in working and interacting with
students. Academy students are given ample opportunities to perform and share their music through
recitals, master classes, festivals, service projects and family sharing sessions. Lessons are
individually tailored to match the skill and dedication of each student. We offer flexible schedules to
suit busy schedules and a variety of payment plans for every budget. Winter/Spring offerings include
Suzuki and traditional method piano, violin and viola for children as young as age three, "Music for
Little Mozarts" piano for children ages four through six, voice, voice/piano combination lessons,
guitar (acoustic, electric and bass), mandolin, dulcimer, banjo, ukulele and music theory lessons. We
offer significant discounts for students who can attend lessons prior to 2:30 p.m.during the
weekdays. There's something for every member of the family at Slater Music Academy!
